FAQs

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Yes, getting a tattoo does involve some level of discomfort, but it’s different for everyone. The pain depends on your personal tolerance and the area being tattooed—some spots are more sensitive than others. Most people find the pain manageable and say it’s not as bad as they expected. Our artists do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible during the process.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Before your tattoo, make sure to eat a proper meal and stay hydrated—it really helps! Avoid alcohol and any blood-thinning medications 24 hours before your session. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. If you’re unsure about anything, feel free to reach out and ask.

What styles of tattoos do you specialise in?

We specialise in a range of styles, from delicate fine line work to bold, custom statement pieces. Whether you’re after something small and meaningful or a full sleeve, we’ve got you covered. Our artists work with you to bring your ideas to life. Every design is tailored to suit your personal style and vision.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

Tattoo aftercare is key to keeping your ink looking great. We’ll give you full instructions, but in general: keep it clean, avoid soaking it in water, and stay out of the sun. Don’t pick at any scabs or peeling skin. Proper aftercare helps your tattoo heal smoothly and stay vibrant for years.

Do you do walk-ins or is it by appointment only?

We welcome both walk-ins and appointments! However, if you have a specific design in mind or want to book time with a particular artist, it’s best to schedule ahead. Walk-in availability depends on the day and how busy we are. Feel free to call us to check before popping in.

Does getting a piercing hurt?

Most piercings involve a quick pinch and are over in seconds. The level of pain varies depending on the area being pierced and your personal tolerance. Our experienced piercers use sterile techniques to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. Many clients say it’s easier than they expected.

What piercings do you offer?

We offer a range of body piercings, including ear, nose, and belly button piercings. Whether you’re getting your first piercing or adding to your collection, we’ve got safe, hygienic options. All piercings are done with high-quality, sterile equipment and jewellery. Our piercers are experienced and happy to answer any questions you have.

How long does it take for piercings to heal?

Healing times vary depending on the type of piercing. Most ear and nose piercings take 6–8 weeks, while belly button piercings can take up to 3 months or more. During healing, it’s important to keep the area clean and avoid touching it too much. We’ll give you all the aftercare info you need to help it heal properly.

Can I bring my own jewellery for a piercing?

We generally recommend using our high-quality jewellery for initial piercings to ensure safety and hygiene. If you bring your own jewellery, we’ll need to check that it meets our standards and is made from suitable materials. Not all jewellery is safe for fresh piercings, so it’s best to consult with our piercer first. Your health and comfort are always our priority.

Do you accept underage clients for tattoos or piercings?

You must be 18 or older to get a tattoo with us—no exceptions. For piercings, we may accept clients under 18 with parental consent, depending on the piercing type. A valid ID and signed consent form will be required. We always aim to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all our clients.
